Caimito

Caimito is a round, purple-skinned, white-fleshed fruit of the tree and was introduced to the Philippines during the Spanish colonial period.

The ripe fruit, preferably chilled, may be merely cut in half and the flesh spooned out, leaving the seed cells and core.
